Orange Pluckin’: Enjoying the Many Faces of Florida

Wednesday, May 9, 2018

Like a lot of the states in the US, Florida covers a huge area, especially considering its population. Thanks to its size, this state is able to host a huge range of different environments, ranging from the natural to the human made, and is one of the most beautiful places on the continent. Of course, though, before you start exploring all of Florida’s facets, it’s a good idea to learn a little bit about it, first. To help you out with this, this post will be exploring some of the key landscapes which can be found in this part of the world.

The Swamps: Florida is well-known for the swamps which can it home. Being filled with weird and wonderful wildlife, a huge variety of plants, and even towns amongst the trees, exploring these places is like visiting another planet. The best way to get around will be by boat, but these will be available to rent once you arrive. Over the course of a couple of days, you will get the chance to see hundreds of creatures, while also being able to get involved with some light fishing to pass the time.

The Lush Tropics: On the other side of the coin, it’s hard to believe that Florida is also home to lush tropical areas, too. Featuring green grass, palm trees, and other plants you’d expect on a desert island, this is a lot of people’s favourite part of Florida. Most of the cities in this state follow this sort of pattern, and are great places to stay if you like a touch of greenery in your urban environments.

The Cityscapes: Of course, though, the cities in Florida have a lot more on offer than simple plant life, and leave a lasting impression most of the people who visit. Miami is a great example, being the most popular amongst party-goers. This city sits on the coast, giving it beautiful views and a charming atmosphere. Living here is very expensive, and this is reflected in the way the place looks, feels, and acts.

The Ocean Front: Finally, as the last area to consider, it’s time to think about the coast surrounding Florida. Options like the Quality Inn Sarasota North could put you within a short drive of loads of great beaches, without costing a fortune when it comes to room fees. If you want to get closer to the ocean, you will have to pay more and more, and it may not be worth it. Instead, you could invest in some transport with the money you save, giving you much greater utility.

Hopefully, this post will inspire you to start working harder on the location you choose for your next vacation. A lot of people struggle with this, finding it hard to choose with all of the options available to them. With the right effort, time, and research, though, it should be nice and easy to start making progress with your time off. You should always read plenty of reviews before booking any sort of holiday.
